The cabin sits in a quiet corner of Ashford, among people who call this forest home year-round. A few small courtesies keep it wonderful for everyone — including the next version of you who comes back.
Evenings are for whispers
Sound carries a long way through the trees here — farther than you'd guess, especially from the hot tub and the deck. Pierce County's quiet hours begin at 10 PM, and we ask that music winds down by 9:30 and voices come inside (or down to a murmur under the stars) after 10. Our neighbors have lived on this mountain a long time, and their early mornings are part of why it stays so peaceful.
The cabin hosts your party, and only your party
Only the guests on your booking may stay overnight, and the cabin isn't set up for parties or gatherings beyond your registered group. If you're dreaming about a special occasion here — a dinner, a celebration — talk to us first; some things are possible by arrangement, and we'd rather say yes properly than have you guess.
Park on the property, never the road
Parking sits directly in front of the cabin — pull straight in. If you're charging, the EV charger is right there at the parking area. Please keep every vehicle fully on the property: nothing on the road shoulder, and never anything blocking a neighbor's access.
Trash stays secured
This is a real forest with real wildlife, so trash stays secured — in the can in the driveway or the cans inside, either is perfect. Leave it bagged when you head out and we take care of everything from there. Please don't leave bags on the porch or deck overnight.
Four-legged guests
Pets are considered by request only — if yours has been approved for your stay, please keep them leashed outdoors, pick up after them, and don't leave them alone on the deck where barking carries.
Fires live in the fire pit
A statewide burn ban is currently in effect, so the fire pit is off for now — no outdoor fires of any kind until it lifts. The propane fireplace inside is unaffected and yours to enjoy, and there's a card on the fridge with the details. When the ban lifts, the pit, firewood, and starter kit are all here waiting.
